Bonding & Veneers Treatments Tucson

Dental bonding and veneers are used to improve the look of healthy teeth. Bonding and veneers act in changing the colour, shape, angle or spacing of your teeth to a more natural look.

What Is Bonding?

Bonding is a form of bonded restoration and is a painless way to make minor repairs to teeth. Several teeth can be bonded at the same time, in one sitting. Dental bonding involves the use of a tooth-colored material called composite resin which is then shaped and hardened with light.

Dr. Rosenberg will fix teeth that are broken, chipped or cracked, that have spaces between them or that are discoloured. Cosmetic dental treatment can improve your smile and give you more confidence.

For this procedure, Dr. Rosenberg will use tooth colored composite resin material — a type of plastic.

Several layers of resin are applied to each tooth, and each layer is hardened under a LED curling light. Thereafter the shaping and polishing of the resin takes place in order to bring the tooth to it’s natural color and smooth texture.

What Are Veneers?

Veneers are a very thin shell that is attached to the front part of teeth. They’re created out of porcelain or composite resin. Porcelain veneers are generally stronger than composites and do not change colour or stain over time.

Generally, porcelain veneers take at least 2 dental visits to apply and generally last longer than composite resin.

A veneer generally covers only the outside part of teeth and are used to repair chipped, decayed or stained teeth. They close gaps and make your teeth look strong and healthy again. They are especially great at masking undesirable tooth defects.
